Parish seeks applicants for deputy court clerk

LEGAL NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board is advertising for the position of Deputy Court Clerk. The position is a part-time position and the work schedule would be to the Justice’s discretion. There are some mandated requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to hold the position.

All applicants should send a resume’ or letter of interest to PO Box 66, Parish, NY 13131. Please clearly mark the envelope “Court Clerk Position Application”.

Legal notice – Parish accepting bids for resurfacing work in Merrill Park

Legal Notice

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board is accepting bids for resurfacing the Basketball and Tennis Courts at Merrill Park located at 664 Co. Rte 38, Parish, NY. Also, the Parish Town Board is accepting bids for resealing the parking lot at Merrill Park.

All bids should be clearly marked sealed bid and submitted in person to the Parish Town Clerk at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY or mailed to PO Box 66, Parish, NY 13131 no later than 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023.

Please take notice, the Parish Town Board will hold their Regular Monthly Meetings on the third Thursday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm. The Town Board will also hold Workshops on the fourth Thursday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm if needed.

All meetings and workshops will be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym and will begin at 6:30 pm unless otherwise advertised and specified.

Public notice – 2023 tax collection

PUBLIC NOTICE

Please take Notice, that I, Kevin A. Dwyer, Tax Collector for the Town of Parish, County of Oswego, State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Parish for the year 2023.  I will be collecting taxes at 2938 E. Main St. in said Town of Parish, for the purpose of receiving taxes listed on said roll, beginning January 3 and ending March 31, 2023 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 6 pm.

Take further notice that taxes may be paid or postmarked on or before January 31, 2023 without charge of interest.  On all taxes received after that date, there shall be added 1% interest for each additional month until such taxes are returned to the Oswego County Treasurer’s Office.

Please pay by check, money order or have the exact amount if paying by cash.  Credit cards are not accepted at this time.
