Workshops/special meetings for 2023 town budget work

LEGAL NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Parish Town Board will hold Budget Workshops/Special Meetings on the following dates, October 13th and October 27, 2022. The Budget Workshops/Special Meetings will be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym and will begin at 6:30 pm. The purpose of the Workshops/Special Meetings is to review the Tentative 2023 Budget details.

The purpose of the Special Meeting/Budget Workshop is for the Town Clerk to present the 2023 Tentative Budget to the Board and for the Board to review the 2023 Tentative Budget.

Senior citizen tax exemption public hearing, Thursday, October 20, 2022, 6:15 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on October 20, 2022 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish NY beginning at 6:15 pm. The purpose of the Public Hearing is for consideration of amending Local Law #1 of 1995 raising the exemption for persons 65 years of age or over pursuant to §467 of the Real Property Law.

The proposed amendment, Local Law #1 of 2022 would raise the current exemption limit from $12,500 to an exemption limit of $13,500.00-$19,200.00 using a sliding scale.

Zoning board of appeals meeting – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 27 – area variance – 248 St. Rt. 69A

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Tuesday September 27, 2022 at 6:30 PM at the Parish Village Gym for the purpose to hear the request for an area variance for the property owned by Patrick & Crystal Ford at 248 St. Rt. 69A (property resides in both the Town and Village of Parish). Tax ID: 191.00-01-08.02. The area variance request is for the purpose of building a garage.

Town of Parish accepting applications for highway MEO

The Town of Parish is accepting applications and or resumes for a Highway MEO Driver for the Town of Parish Highway Department.

The Highway MEO Position applicants should have a clean CDL Class B License and have driving experience.

The Town of Parish is accepting applications and or resumes for Seasonal Wing Operator Positions.

All applicants should live within 15-20 minutes from the Parish Highway Dept.
