PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Parish Town Board will be re-scheduling their Regular December Meeting from December 15th, 2022 at 7:00 pm to December 14th, at 5:00 pm. The Parish Village/Town Joint Meeting will be re-scheduled from December 8th to December 14th, 2022 beginning at 7:00 pm. All meetings are held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym.

Parish town board to hold 2023 budget hearing Thursday, October 27, 2022, 6:30 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear all comments regarding the 2023 Preliminary Budget.

Copies of the 2023 Preliminary Budget will be available for inspection prior to the hearing at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.

PURSUANT TO SECTION 113 OF TOWN LAW, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are as follows:

Supervisor                               $17,000.00
Town Clerk                             $23,000.00
Councilman (4) each           $4,500.00
Town Justice                           $16,000.00
Tax Collector                            $4,000.00
Highway Sup’t                        $44,000.00

A Special Meeting will be held immediately following the Public Hearing for the purpose of considering adoption of the Preliminary Budget as the 2023 Final Budget.

The public is invited to attend.

The purpose of the Special Meeting/Budget Workshop is for the Town Clerk to present the 2023 Tentative Budget to the Board and for the Board to review the 2023 Tentative Budget.

Senior citizen tax exemption public hearing, Thursday, October 20, 2022, 6:15 p.m.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on October 20, 2022 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish NY beginning at 6:15 pm. The purpose of the Public Hearing is for consideration of amending Local Law #1 of 1995 raising the exemption for persons 65 years of age or over pursuant to §467 of the Real Property Law.

The proposed amendment, Local Law #1 of 2022 would raise the current exemption limit from $12,500 to an exemption limit of $13,500.00-$19,200.00 using a sliding scale.
