The Parish Planning Board Wants Your Opinion

The Parish Town and Village Joint Planning Board is in the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan for the community of Parish. The comprehensive plan is designed to guide the future actions of the Parish community in land use. It presents a vision for the future, with long-range goals and objectives for activities that affect the land use in the community.

To that end the planning board is reaching out to the Parish community for their input on the plan. The board has created an online survey that is available here:

The survey will be open until the end of October for residents to give their opinions.

Parish announces meetings for 2022 budget development

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold Budget Workshops to discuss and work on the 2022 Town of Parish Budget. All workshops will be held at 2938 E Main Street in the Village Gym, Parish, NY and will begin at 6:30 pm. The workshops will be held on the following dates: 9/30/2021, 10/7/2021, 10/14/2021, and 10/28/2021.

COVID vaccine clinic in Williamstown, Thursday, September 9

The Oswego County Health Department will hold a COVID vaccination clinic at the Williamstown Fire Station on Thursday, September 9, from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. This clinic will offer the Pfizer vaccine, for first, second, or third doses.

If this is your first dose, you will be scheduled for your second dose on Thursday, September 30, also at the Williamstown Fire Station.

Town of Parish Highway Department accepting applications for seasonal highway employees

The Town of Parish is accepting applications and or resumes for Highway Wing Operator Positions for the Town of Parish Highway Department beginning December 1st, 2021 through April 30th, 2022.

All applicants should reside within 15-20 minutes from the Parish Highway Department.
