The resolution, a summary of which is published herewith, published herewith has been adopted on the 20th day of February, 2020, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such resolution may be hereafter contested only if such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the Town of Parish is not authorized to expend money or if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty (20) days after the date of publication of this notice, or such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the constitution. 

A complete copy of the bond resolution summarized herewith is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Parish for a period of twenty days from the date of publication of this Notice.

Legal Notice — Town Board Special Meeting Thursday, January 30, 2020

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a Special Meeting on January 30th, 2020 at 6:30 pm to be held at 2938 E. Main Street Parish, NY in the Village Gym. The purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider hiring a Project Manager for a Water Project and any other business that may be brought before the Board.

Legal Notice — Parish Town Board advertising for two un- expired vacancies on the Assessment Board of Review

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board is advertising for two un-expired vacancies on the Assessment Board of Review. 1 unexpired term will begin immediately and expired on 9/30/2020 and the 2nd unexpired term will begin immediately and will expire on 9/30/2022.  Assessment Board of Review Members are expected to attend classes offered annually regarding the grievance process.

The responsibilities of an Assessment Board of Review Member is to attend Grievance Procedure on the 4th Tuesday in May and hear all grievance complaints brought before the Board to determine if the assessment should be changed.

Legal Notice – Vacancy – Position of Conservation Council

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE,  the Parish Town Board is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy for the Position of Conservation Council for the Town of Parish Joint Planning Board. The position begins immediately and will expire on 12/31/2020.

Requirements for the position are attendance at all Planning Board Meetings, participation with Planning Board Members for consideration of site plans, subdivisions, zoning, and other related matters. The Planning Board meets the 4th Monday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym unless other wise specified. There are training opportunities available for the position each year.

Notice — Zoning Board Alternate Position Vacancy

Please take notice, the Parish Town Board is accepting resumes and or letters of interest for the position of an Alternate to the Parish Joint Zoning Board of Appeals. The Alternate Zoning Board Position requires that you fill in if a temporary absence occurs or if a conflict of interest arises on the Joint ZBA.

 All Zoning Board of Appeals Alternates are required to fulfill at least 4 hours of training annually and are welcome to attend all Zoning Board Appeals Meetings. Zoning Board of Appeals Alternates participate in consideration of interpretation of any determinations of the ZEO/CEO, Area Variances, Use Variances, and any other related matters. The ZBA meets on an as needed basis and are held at 2938 E. Main Street Parish, NY in the Village Gym unless other wise specified.
