PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed amendment on the Town of Parish Zoning Law on April 15th, 2021 beginning at 6:00 pm. to be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym and via Zoom.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is for consideration of adoption of the Town of Parish Zoning Local Law #1 of 2021 amending Town of Parish Zoning Law, Local Law # 1 of 2018.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, immediately following the Public Hearing held for consideration of Town of Parish Local Law #1 of 2021, a Public Hearing will be held for Local Law #2 of 2021.

The purpose of this Public Hearing is for consideration to enact an extension of a Temporary six (6) month Moratorium on Free-Standing Solar Panel Installation within the Town of Parish authorized under Local Law #1 of 2019.

All interest parties will be heard and all questions and concerns will be addressed.

Zoning Board Alternate Position Vacancy

Please take notice, the Parish Town Board is accepting resumes and or letters of interest for the position of an Alternate to the Parish Joint Zoning Board of Appeals. The Alternate Zoning Board Position requires that you fill in if a temporary absence occurs or if a conflict of interest arises on the Joint ZBA.

All Zoning Board of Appeals Alternates are required to fulfill at least 4 hours of training annually and are welcome to attend all Zoning Board Appeals Meetings. Zoning Board of Appeals Alternates participate in consideration of interpretation of any determinations of the ZEO, Area Variances, Use Variances, and any other related matters. The ZBA meets on an as needed basis and meetings are held at 2938 E. Main Street Parish, NY in the Village Gym unless other wise specified.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, the Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed local law #1 of 2020 to be held by video conference or at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY on 9/10//2020 at 6:00 pm. The public can submit questions and comments in writing in advance of the hearing and meeting by US Mail or e-mail to the Town Parish Town Clerk at townclerk@parish-ny.us.
