PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending 2019 for the Town of Parish is on file in the Parish Town Clerk’s Office located at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym. The Financial Report is available during regular business hours for inspection.

Legal Notice — Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant

Please Take Notice, that I, Kevin A. Dwyer the undersigned Collector of Taxes in the Town of Parish, County of Oswego, State of New York have duly received the Tax Roll and Warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Parish for the year 2020. I will receive taxes from January 2nd, 2020 through March 31st, 2020. I will collect  at the Village/Town Hall located at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY during the following hours: Tuesday and Thursdays-10am-6pm , January, February and March. During the month of January-Friday hours will be available 2pm-6pm.


Payment can be made by check, money order and cash-only exact change will be accepted.  Change cannot be made. Please make check or money order out to Parish Tax Collector and mail to Parish Tax Collector, PO Box 66, Parish, NY 13131.

Please Take  Further Notice that taxes may be paid on or before January 31st, 2020 without interest or penalty. Collections received from February 1st, 2020 through February 28th, 2020, there will be a 1% penalty assessed.  Collections received from March 1st, 2020 to March 31st, 2020, there will be a 2% penalty assessed. If taxes are unpaid as of March 15th, 2020, and a Second Notice of Taxes is Due is processed, an additional charge of $2.00 will be levied and will become part of the amount due.

This surcharge must be paid in order for the collector to accept your taxes.

If a receipt is required the entire bill must be returned with payment. No postdated checks will be accepted and checks must be made out for the correct amount or they will be returned.
