PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 to be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym and via Zoom beginning at 6:15 p.m.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to address all comments, concerns, and questions regarding passing Local Law #2 of 2021 authorizing the Town Board to exceed the tax levy limit for the Parish Town 2022 Budget under GMC 3-C

Copies of the proposed local law are on file at the Town Clerk’s Office and are available for inspection during normal Town Clerk’s Office hours.

The Parish town board will hold a special meeting on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 6:15 p.m. at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York for the purpose of introducing a proposed local law to override the tax levy limit for the 2022 budget, and to schedule a public hearing on the tax levy limit override local law. Notice of Receipt of Tax Roll & Warrant

Please Take Notice, that I, Kevin A. Dwyer the undersigned Collector of Taxes in the Town of Parish, County of Oswego, State of New York pending receipt of the Tax Roll and Warrant, from Oswego County, for the collection of taxes within the Town of Parish for the year 2021. I will receive taxes from January 4th, 2021 through March 31st, 2021. Due to COVID-19, payment can be made by check, money order or Cashier’s Check (in lieu of cash).  Please make checks or money order payable to Parish Tax Collector and mail to Parish Tax Collector, PO Box 66, Parish, NY 13131. Please use the Drop Box to the left side of  entrance to the building, if payment is not sent by US Mail.

No in person payments will be accepted.
Please Take  Further Notice that taxes may be paid on or before January 31st, 2021 without interest or penalty. Collections received from February 1st, 2021 through February 28th, 2021 will be assessed a 1% penalty.  Collections received from March 1st, 2021 to March 31st, 2021 will be assessed a 2% penalty.  If taxes are unpaid as of March 15th, 2021 and a Second Notice of Taxes Due is processed, an additional charge of $2.00 will be levied and will become part of the amount  due.  This surcharge must be paid in order for the collector to accept your taxes.  If a receipt is required the entire bill must be returned with payment. No postdated checks will be accepted.  Checks must be made out for the correct amount and payable only to the Parish Tax Collector or they will be returned.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on December 17th 2020 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym beginning at 6:00 p.m.
