Parish town board public hearing on law authorizing exceeding tax levy limit for 2021 budget, and on the 2021 preliminary budget
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 5th, 2020 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym and by Zoom. The Public Hearing will be held immediately following the Tax Cap Public Hearing that begins at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear all comments regarding the 2021 Preliminary Budget, and contracts for the Parish Fire Company and McFee Ambulance.
Copies of the 2021 Preliminary Budget will be available for inspection prior to the hearing at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.
PURSUANT TO SECTION 113 OF TOWN LAW, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are as follows:
Supervisor $16,000.00
Town Clerk $22,000.00
Councilman (4) each $4,000.00
Town Justice $15,000.00
Tax Collector $4,000.00
Highway Sup’t $44,000.00
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Town Board will convene to a Special Meeting directly following the Public Hearing to consider adoption or amendment of the 2021 Budget, the 2021 Contract with the Parish Fire Company, and the McFee Ambulance Contract.
