Legal notice — town roads limited on tonnage 3/15/2021 — 5/31/2021

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, all town roads in the Town of Parish are limited to a tonnage not to exceed more than (5) tons per axle beginning March 15th, 2021 and ending May 31, 2021.

Results of special election – Water District #1

There was a Special Election on Monday, March 1 to seek voter approval to raise the maximum amount to be expended in Water District #1 for improvements in the district.

The motion was defeated by a vote of 66 in favor and 131 opposed.

Parish planning board agenda – February 22, 2021

Parish town board meeting 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 to be held via Zoom

Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency, and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1 issued on March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meetings Law and subsequent Executive Orders, the Parish Town Board will conduct its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Due to COVID-19, the village gym was closed to the public effective Monday, December 14, 2020 until further notice, and therefore this meeting will not be open to the public in person. The meeting will be available electronically, via Zoom teleconference.

Water district #1 referendum scheduled

The referendum for water district #1 has been scheduled for Monday, March 1, 2021 from noon until 8:00 p.m. at the Parish Fire Station, 16 Union Street, Parish, New York. Additional information will be made available as the referendum date gets nearer.

The Parish Town Board Meetings are as follows:

Workshops-Fourth Thursday of each month as needed-6:30 p.m.
Joint Meetings-Second Thursday-March, June, September, & December-7:00 p.m.

Any additional meetings will be advertised and posted on the Town’s Website.

All meetings will be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY unless otherwise advertised and specified. Meetings will also be available by Zoom with instructions on the Town of Parish’s Website. townofparish-ny.us.
