The agenda for the Parish Planning Board meeting of Monday, May 18, 2020 is now available:

The Parish Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. on the Dennison Subdivision located at 2361 Co. Rt. 26, Parish. The hearing will be held at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street, Parish, New York. Social distancing protocol will apply.

In lieu of making a personal appearance, the public is encouraged to offer comments in writing, by May 15th, via email to the Planning Board Chairman at pbchair@parish-ny.us or US Mail to: P.O. Box 66, Parish, NY 13131.

All comments will be entered into the record and distributed to all board members. Please call 315-857-6081 with any questions or concerns.

Legal Notice – Vacancy – Position of Conservation Council

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE,  the Parish Town Board is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy for the Position of Conservation Council for the Town of Parish Joint Planning Board. The position begins immediately and will expire on 12/31/2020.

Requirements for the position are attendance at all Planning Board Meetings, participation with Planning Board Members for consideration of site plans, subdivisions, zoning, and other related matters. The Planning Board meets the 4th Monday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym unless other wise specified. There are training opportunities available for the position each year.

Please send all letters of interest and or resumes to Kelly Reader, Town Clerk, PO Box 66, Parish, NY 13131. Letters of interest and or resumes must be delivered to the Clerk by February 19th, 2020 no later than 4:00 pm.

Notice — Planning Board Alternate Position Vacancy

Please take notice the Parish Town Board is accepting resumes and or letters of interest for the position of an Alternate to the Parish Planning Board. The Alternate Planning Board Position requires that you fill in if a temporary absence occurs or if a conflict of interest arises on the Parish Joint Planning Board.

All Planning Board Alternates are required to fulfill at least 4 hours of training annually and are welcome to attend all Planning Board Meetings. Planning Board Members/Alternates participate in consideration for site plans, subdivisions, zoning, and other related matters. The Planning Board meets the 4th Monday of every month beginning at 6:30 pm. at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym unless other wise specified.

Parish Zoning Board of Appeals to hold public hearing Tuesday, November 12, 2019 – 748 Rider Street, Parish

There will be a public hearing to be held on November 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall located at 2938 East Main Street, Parish with the Zoning Board of Appeals to discuss an application for an area variance for a setback on the property located at 784 Rider Street, Parish, for a New Wireless Telecommuting Facility for Tillman Infrastructure. All those interested are welcome to attend.
