Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency, and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1 issued on March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meetings Law and subsequent Executive Orders, the Parish Town Board will conduct a special meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2020 electronically, via Zoom teleconference. The Zoom meeting will begin at 6:30 pm or shortly after.

LEGAL NOTICE — Public hearing, special town board meeting November 14, 2019

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on November 14th, 2019 to be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym beginning at 6:30 pm.

            The purpose of the Public Hearing is to address all comments, concerns, and questions regarding passing Local Law #2 of 2019 authorizing the Parish Town Board to exceed the tax levy limit for the Town’s 2020 Budget under GMC 3-C.

            Copies of the proposed local law are on file at the Town Clerk’s Office and are available for inspection during normal Town Clerk’s Office hours.

            The Town Board will hold a Special Meeting immediately following the Public Hearing to consider adoption of Local Law #2 of 2020 authorizing the Town of Parish to exceed the Tax Cap Limit for the 2020 Town Budget and to consider adoption or amending the 2020 Preliminary Budget as the Town of Parish’s 2020 Final Budget.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; The Parish Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear all comments regarding the 2020 Preliminary Budget, contracts for the Parish Fire Company, and the Ambulance Contract.

Copies of the 2020 Preliminary Budget will be available for inspection prior to the hearing at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.

PURSUANT TO SECTION 113 OF TOWN LAW, the proposed salaries of the following Town Officers are as follows:

Supervisor $15,000.00
Town Clerk $21,000.00
Councilman (4) each $4,000.00
Town Justice $15,000.00
Tax Collector $4,000.00
Highway Sup’t $44,000.00

PUBLIC NOTICE – Budget workshops 2019

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, The Parish Town Board will hold a budget workshop for the 2020 Budget on September 5th, 2019 beginning at 6:30 pm. The next budget workshop is scheduled for September 26th, 2019 beginning at 6:30 pm. Budget workshops will continue to be held on Thursdays beginning at 6:30 pm until the 2020 budget process is complete and or as needed. All budget workshops will be held at 2938 E. Main Street, Parish, NY in the Village Gym.
