Parish Village and Town Office Building (Gym) re-opening Monday, June 29, 2020

June 24, 2020 — As Central New York has reached Phase 3 of the State’s reopening process, the Parish Village & Town Office Building (Gym) will re-open on Monday, June 29, 2020 to resume necessary business.

In so doing all protocols set forth by the Department of Health are to be adhered to. Upon entering the building everyone is to comply by the wearing of masks  and maintain social distancing. Cleaning & disinfecting practices are in effect. For your safety and those around you, your attention to these requirements is appreciated.

At all times REMEMBER TO: wash your hands and cover your face in public.

We want to continue to keep our employees and the public safe during the remainder of this difficult time and thank you for your understanding & cooperation.

Notice of Completion — Final Assessment Roll

Pursuant to Section 516, NYS Real Property Tax Law, the Sole Assessor, Town of Parish, County of Oswego, NY has completed the current year’s Final Assessment roll, and has filed a certified copy thereof with the Office of Town Clerk for public inspection.  Said copy is available for public inspection at the Parish Village Gym, 2938 East Main Street Parish, New York 13131, beginning July 1, 2020. Parish Town Board — Village Board joint meeting via Zoom, Thursday, June 11, 2020, 7:00 p.m.

Due to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Emergency and State and Federal bans on large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Orders issued on March 12, 2020 and subsequently, suspending the Open Meetings Law, the Parish Town Board and Village Board have scheduled a Zoom Meeting for Thursday, June 11, 2020, to be held electronically via Zoom teleconference instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person. The Zoom meeting will begin at 7:00 pm or shortly after.

Please note that the village gym will not be open for the public to be physically present at this meeting. The Zoom accommodations are intended to provide for the public’s right to know how the town’s business is being conducted while still maintaining both group size limitations and physical distancing considerations currently in effect.
